Thank you. If I had the time and parts, this was going to be much bigger than what you see here, but it was last minute notice for my university's art show. Plus it was right before finals week.

How many Spaceships did it take to make that uber-spaceship?  (I'm guessing 6, based on the number of Bennys I think I see)  And how much of it do you reckon is made from not-Spaceship parts?  I ask because I want one...  :P

Seriously though, fantastic work.  I love the way that rock wall in the back looks like it's been drilled out already.  :D

Actually it only took three spaceships to build this behemoth, so it's not super expensive to make. As for parts of my own, I'd prolly say I used only about a hundred pieces at most. The parts that I did use from my own inventory were used for detailing only. Nothing major structural wise. If you're interested in building one of these guys let me know. I don't have a digital design for ya to follow, but I can help you with the building process. Basically I just built one of the models and then completely stripped the front half, leaving only the structural hull underneath intact. After you got that part done it's when the real fun begins. And thank you for the remarks on the landscape. I had plans to add a cieling to the cutout, as though it was a cave that was being dug into, but I wanted to make sure everything was able to be seen.

Only three?  Well, that's a little more doable.  Maybe I can make some money this Summer, and pick up a couple more.  If I am able to, I'll be sure to let you know.  I might make mine a little differently though, as I'd want to make use of that awesome huge yellow cockpit window.  Do the wings on that thing still do the bit where they slide in and out?  It looks like the mechanism for that might still be in place.

Whenever I do a redesign of a set, or rebuild it into something else, I try to use as many of the original parts as possible, and not leave anything out.  Sometimes that works out to be a good thing, but sometimes it does get over-cluttered.

Yes, the original wing fuctionality is still in place. It was one of the original features I want'ed to keep. I remember that when I was done making the new version, that there were a ton of pieces left over. To be honest I've yet to find a good use for those large yellow cockpit screens.

Well... they do make awesome spaceship cockpit windows.  :D

I just got finished making a tank out of the Indiana Jones Jungle Cutter set (again) and there were tons of parts left over.  Extra bits of track, wheels, ...blades, of course..  But I tried my darnedest.  :P

Thanks man. ^^ It was a blast to build as well. Also, I just wanted to remind you that I haven't forgotten about your request on working on a mobile suit walker for minifigure. I do have a prototype done, but it has no armor right now. I'm outfitting it with light azure blue armor. If you don't know which shade that is, it's that shade of blue from the galactic titan.

I've built a cool new flight machine. I just can't find a good camera to take a picture of it-I may have to borrow my dad';s. It's so ANNOYING when one can't find a camera, isn't it? Thanks about the mech! by the way, I really wish I had more lego. Further updates hopefully on Monday.

Yeah I know how you feel about camera issues. My campus recently added a new multimedia center where student can check out some really high quality recording and camera equipment. So for the past few months I've been experimenting with those, because while my little nikon is nice, I want to upgrade within the next year or so. Also I need to apologize for something. Remember how I said I was gonna work on your mech design? Well, the thing is I did do that, and I pretty much finished it. However I made one teeny tiny mistake. I didn't use the azure blue like I said. I got so into the zone that I used a whole different color scheme. You'll see what I mean soon. As soon as I make a few more modifications, I'll release it as a Galactic Rangers model. So probably with in the next week or so it'll be posted. Stay tuned. ^^

You betcha. I'm uploading some pics of my latest model-I call it the Skysweeper mark two-and I hope you don't mind, but you know those cool attack droids on your Galactic Titan Gunship? I built three just like them, and a slightly modified one, to place in an internal weapons bay (I got the idea of the US F-22 and F-35 stealth fighters) as a backup defence. Hope you like it. Thanks again about the mech. I'd better start saving for new lego-just in case I see something I really like. See you.

I took a look at the pics you posted, and I like what I see. Also, I might have had a spark of building brilliance while working on that mini mech, because they've begun to multiply.

I saw all of them, and they were all great! I just didn't want to flood you with comments that all said basically the same thing.:)

Hey It's no problem. I much rather prefer feedback over a favorite any day.
